Okay so my surgery was friday. When the surgeon went into my knee he found that my miniscus was slightly tore so he just cut the little peice off. He also found that I had shaved off about 70% of my cartilidge. He saw that the bone fragment, which is what they were worried about in the first place, wasn't that major. He took the cartilidge out and sent it to a place in the USA that is the only grower of cartilidge and they are going to grow me some  new cartilidge. I am going to have another surgery that is going to be a cartilidge transplant. Once the cartilidge is grown and sent back I will be having aanother surgery. That will be in about 6-8 weeks. While I am waiting I am going to be going to physical therapy. After the last surgery I am going to be having 6-8 months of physical therapy. He thinks I will eventually be back to normal but he isn't sure. I can't do soccer this year. :( It was either wait for the cartilidge or get cadaver (dead person. ew) cartilidge which they wouldn't have known if my body would accept or reject. I am glad that I don't have cadaver cartilidge that just seems wrong. Eww. Well just wanted to let you all know since so many people replyed to my last one. Comment. Thanks. Bye

   Its that time again girls! Spring time thats right! the warm weather, the outdoor sports, and of course capris, shorts, tanks, tees.................and bathing suits.

   Every year I am always so exited for spring/summer to come but then when I go to Target to get a new bathing suit, I try it on and get really insecure about my legs. I am usually a very confident girl with lots of ambition, but not at that time when all I can think about is my legs that I feel so insecure about.

   the problem I have is I am a 12 year old and I weigh 120lbs. and I am 5'6'' 1/2, and I am actually under weight for my height. My problem is I see other girls with such skinny thys and legs, and I am not built like them, I play softball and that muscle in my thy gets me really insecure and I just wanna be like those girls who have such skinny thys, but yet I know I am not built like them. It bugs me a lot every year and I can't seem to find a way to lose that insecurity about myself.

     Last year I thought to myself, "why am I so insecure over my legs?!" and I just have to tell myself everytime I am not built like those other girls and I need to accept my legs and know that I can't change how my thys are built with exercise and that the muscle I will gain from exercising my thys are just going to make my thys get bigger.

  So this year I am going to try as hard as I can to not make fun of my own thys for not being built like other girl's.

Today's media plays a huge part in how girls look and act in our generation. It's unbelievable how girls are affected by shows that tell them they should act or look a certain way. I fear one of my friends is becoming anarexic. It's shows like America's Next Top Model that make girls feel insecure about their bodies. Teenagers like ourselves watch shows like that and feel like we're not good enough and we have to be a size zero. We're only teenagers. We shouldn't  be worrying about how we look...we should be enjoying life! Of course mantaining a healthy diet is important, but we shouldn't starve ourselves because the media tells us we should be a size zero!!!

Ok so I was looking through the secrets because I was bored. I never realized how many girls are worried about getting their periods! But I honestly don't know why they are so scared.  First off I am 16 and I remember that in 8th grade I got my period.  It was not scary, when I got mine I was thankfully at home.  Maybe that is why gurls are so scared because they think that they will get it at school.  I was actually shocked a little bit when i realized that I had gotten mine.  I had these bad cramps (but don't worry, you may not have bad cramps...I would ask ur mom if she has bad cramps if you are able too) and I didn't think I was starting my period.  I actually thought that I had gas (sorry I know that is gross) and I went to the bathroom cuz I had to pee and the next thing I knew I saw a little bit of blood in my undies and some was in the toilet. 

   So yeah your period is messy, and yeah it is annoying, but I would not be scared. If you have not gotten urs you should be happy. I know that you probably want ur period but you don't. There are cramps, aches + pains, acne, headaches and messiness that come with a period.  But then again you could be a lucky one, you may have a light flow (LUCKY!!!).  I happen to have a heavy flow for about 4 days and my periods last about a week :( but I have been fine.

   If you need to talk or have any questions you can talk/ask me and I would suggest talking to a female you are close too.  And if you feel like you will never get your period, do not worry! trust me you will.  You normally need to be about one hundred pounds (that is what I heard anyways) so that you body knows you are ready to start carrying children.  Anyway, good luck!

So, I've been dealing with the dreaded acne for 3 days now. I'm one of the lucky few who does not have acne all over myself, but I am human and normally I get one pimple during my "once a month". But this time, it's so much worse. TWO disgusting ones, right next to eachother, on my chin! Talk about a blow to my self-confidence.

I've tried everything: face washes, toothpaste, face masks. Their not going away or even looking as if their going away! And so I threw away six dollars today to buy one of those zit-zapper pens that are all like "zap it before it happens!" It better work or I am doomed.

And note to my face: I'm going to NY on Saturday who knows who I might run into?! I really don't want them to see me this way. K, thanks.

I remember seeing my friend, Eric, startle the living daylights out of his younger brother (He's in 6th grade and his brother's in 5th). At school yesterday, he snuck up behind his little brother, sorta half-tackled him, and went "RAAAAWWRRR!!!" And his brother was all like, "AAAGGHH!" Then he was like, "Why you little..." Then he started chasing Eric, and they were both laughing like maniacs.

Ah, boys can be such wild hooligans sometimes.

Y'know what's ironic? Eric is 12 years old, his brother is, like, 10 years old or somethin', and yet, Eric is shorter than his brother.

Eric has these really cool eyeglasses. Whenever he goes outside into the sunlight, they darken into sunglasses. And when he goes inside, they slowly fade out into clear eyeglasses.

I think I'm probably gonna end up wearing glasses before I'm 13. See, I have a few eye conditions...I have an eye condition called "astigmatism" (or however you spell it), in which my cornea is shaped like a football instead of a circle, altering my vision and focusing. And I'm nearsighted, so that doesn't help at all. Sometimes I can't see what the teacher is writing on the whiteboard in class.

So yeah, I might end up wearing glasses some day.

Hey. I had a bad day yesterday and need some help about it.

So I tore the ACL in my knee. I can't walk and it really hurts. I have to wear a knee imobalizer and use crutches. I will have string arms by the time I can walk again. I was in P.E. when this happened. I was playing basket ball when my feet got tangled into this one other girls. I heard a pop and fell to the ground. It really hurt. I went to the hospital and waited like three hours before I actually got in. They said I ttore it and thata if my doctor says its a major tear I will need surgery. If not a lot of physical therapy is in store. I wont be able to walk for a while and doing p.e. is kindza out of the question. Has anyone had surgery before? I am afriad because the doctor at the ER said that it is most likely major... Please help...

      Ok, hi girls! Wow, my sides hurt. I got my appendix out. I spent five or six days in the hospital recovering. 
      So, on the 14th or 13th I got a high fever and my sides were hurting. And that's when my mom finally figured out why. 
    She checked me in the hospital and they did the surgery. The pain is not as it was when I was in the hospital. Dude, it hurt soooo much when I woke up. Nothing but pudding and apple juice. 
     So, I didn't go to school today. Yay! And I kinda want to go tomorrow. Idk.
    Have you ever gotten surgery? Ever since I was like 10 I knew that the appendix is just a useless organ!

So I forgot to post this on my latest blog post but I was wondering: what are your biggest insecurities? Do you feel like your butt is huge? Your eyes could be a shade lighter? Your teeth are so ugly you feel like the glass would shatter when you look in the mirror?

I know this is a random question to ask, but I want to know what your insecurities are because I want to open up my eyes and hopefully yours to show that we all have insecurities. We just need to learn to accept them.

For me, I've always hated my nose and my thighs, they look so huge!!

But now, what do you just love about yourself?? Is it your crystal clear blue eyes? Your long legs? Your shiny hair?

For me it would be my lips, I think their very luscious :) I also have long legs, which I appreciate alot because they make me look taller (when I'm actually very short.

Ok,Ally Katzz fans so 3wks ago I hit my elbow on the computer room door and my mama said o its just your funny bone you hit.So I started to not worry about well that Saturday i was at my sisters house for my neice's birthday party and my step-dad made her a swing set.So,when it was finshed we swung on it well its was time for cake time so i jumped off and I landed on my elbow.Well the next day i could not use it at all so mama to me to the hostipal and trhey said I had to wear a sling for 3 days and it will start to get better.Well the 4th day it still hurt so mama took me to the orthpeadic and they xrayed it and said my bone was farcted and they gave me a pink cast to wear for 2wks then i had to come back so when the 2wks were over i went back and they took the pink cast off and every time i moved my arm it would hurt.Well the doctor told me that I needed to wear anthoer cast for 3 wks and so I got a purple one with sliver spakles.

I went into this climbing thing and its made up of these elastic bands and you have to try and get to the very top but at any time you may fall through it and go all the way back to the bottom. haha EPIC FAILL.

Overall it was a awesome day but the best part was my crush going shirtless.
