OKAY CHAPTER 5 IS NOW HERE... WARNING IT MAYBE VERY SAD... OKAY HERE WE GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*********************************************** *

Once the door cleared from my veiw, I saw a woman and man, they looked just like Kieran. "Mother, Father. May I interdouce you to Katilian.'' Kieran said, strained. I smiled and waved polietly. But next I know I see lightening flying towards me. I jumped out of the way and started to get angry.

''Huh, strong aren't we, Darkk Angel? That was suppose to be invisable to you, seeing how your brand new." Kieran's father said.   " Leave me alone!" I yelled, feeling wind twirl around me. Huh, so I controled wind and fire... cool. I heard Kieran yell stop but I didn't know who it was to.

Then a giant red bolt came flying from Kieran's mother's throne. I ducked and thought of fire-balls shooting out at her. The fire hedead my command and flew. I heard her scream at the oncoming fire, so I said, ''Stop, diminish!" They again hedeaded my commands and I heard gasps all over the room.

''Kieran, she's too strong. We don't want her here.'' They said at the same time. I instantly started to cry. I ran out the room, through the door I came through. I ran through the halls till I sunk onto the floor and wept.

Then I heard Kieran yelling for me, so I ran into the nearest room. It had a grand piano, and on the stand of the piano was music. I walked over to see it was music and lyrics. So I sat down and started to play and sing the song,

'' No matter how much you love me,         ;        & nbsp;       &nb sp;         ;

I still will never be aceptted! Oh,oh,oh

You can't see, that your parents don't like me

Because we're bitter enemys, Even if I how to not hurt you.

Oh, baby can't you see! Oh,oh,oh,oh,oh No baby, I'm sorry.''

''That took me forever to learn, yet you picked it up  in seconds and sung and play beautifuly." I heard someone say. I turned around and saw Kieran's mother standing in the doorway. I smiled and said, ''Thanks, you wrote that?'' She nodded and moved closer to me. "Kieran heard you voice, so did my husband. They stopped instantly and listened to it. When they stopped, I came here, and found you. Only the talented can find this room. And you are talented.'' She said.

I nodded and we talked and played on the piano, writing the rest of song for hours. Getting to know each other, when next I know she says, "Know what, I think you are great for my son." I smiled and gave her a hug. "Thank you, Kieran's mother." I said. She shook her head and said, '' Call me Rose."

Heey, so... I decided that I would really, really like to make an online magazine. I have had a look at heaps of other people's blogs and well I saw a couple of people doing an online magazine so I decided that I am going to make one too!

I thought it would be a great little project to work on and I also thought that it would be a fantastic idea and go with the project I am doing at school. A bunch of friends of mine are making a school magazine and I just thought that if I do a magazine on Allykatzz it might give me some ideas for the magazine at school.

I won't just be doing the magazine by myself, I am going to write one article and then you can choose what you want to do for the magazine if you want to be a part of it. But remember there is only one person on one job so if the job is already taken please choose another. The kind of topics I was thinking about doing were Fashion, Interviews, Music Reviews, Book Reviews, Movie Reviews, Embarrassing Moments, Latest Gossip, What's hot! and that's about it.

If you would like one of these jobs just send me a shout out with the heading, "Allykatzz Magazine - _________" The _______ part means what you would like to do for the magazine. So like for example say I wanted to do Fashion right, I would write Allykatzz Magazine - Fashion and in the shout out please write why you would like to do the topic and why you think you would be good and responsible for the job. Thanks!!

im writing a story here is the introduction tell me wut u think.........

The Freak Show

       &nb sp;         ;        & nbsp;

Have you ever felt like you don't belong anywhere and you just what to go to the bottom of the ocean and coil under a rock?  Maybe you want to go to school with a pack of wolfs like a wolf child. Maybe you have a really weird wack job name and are 14 years old and still play with rubber ducks in the bath tub. Did you move to a new country at the age of 11 as your mom would say the reason is because..."we need to explore new land and be free to our own beliefs?" do people make fun of you just because you’re an Iraqi and have a big nose? I was 8 1/2 years old when the war started in Iraq .If I could describe it in one word it would be..... Well I’m not in the war so it is different to me, but brother is fighting in that war for a country he had never been to. We had talked about moving to the country where we could be free to our own beliefs no one would tell us what to do. We could talk about whatever without worrying about being bugged by the U.S military. All we ever wanted was to be free from the war. That first year had been horrifying always afraid that a bomb would drop on our house. The next year came and my brother decided to fight for that land of freedom. He promised us he was going to right to us every day. At first he kept his word and we received one daily. A few weeks later they came less and less till eventually they stopped coming. This is when we decided to move to this land of the free or as I call it the mainland. In my words the trip there was like riding with a pack of wolfs when they were without food for 5 days. It took about a year to get the mainland or in other words the new country. I am Shay Sundurn and this story about how I was living in Iraq and then moved to America.

I promised a new blog soon right? Well, for this very special blog I am here to give you a book review. I was privileged enough to get an advanced reader copy. In this blog I shall tell you the top ten things that are amazing about this book.

10. You can't judge a book by its cover right? Well, I often find myself judging book covers a lot. So if your book's cover can intrigue me, it's a good sign. This book's cover certainly did! It's very unique my kudos to ..well I don't know the designer's name.

9. Well then, of course we flip the book over to read the back. The back tells you just enough, and spoils nothing. Which honestly, I've been seeing happen..a lot.

8. Summer days are coming to a close. I want to read as much as possible right? Well this book was a quick easy read. I mean that in a good way! A really good way!

7. If you're going to take the time to read a book, you might as well like the people in it correct? In this book there are very relatable to you, and people you know.

6. As I just mentioned there where relatable characters. How about a relatable plot? Well tough friendship problems, people changing over summer, and separated parents I find very relatable don't you?

5. Okay, I just mentioned the plot. What else can I say about it?...Except that its really unique and amazing!

4. It has a moral. Maybe not a one that comes up and slaps you in the face, but a moral. Don't lie to your friends because, who knows what predicament you could get into.

3. It has things you wouldn't really expect to find in an average teen book.

2. It's funny! Simple as that.

1. So I mentioned earlier it's not your average teen book,& it may not have your usual OMG there's a burglar in the house suspense, but it has suspense. Seriously, the book was filled w/ moments that you had to know what happened!

So what do you think are you going to pick up MFBIBTY once it hits shelves?

Have you read anything else by Kristina Springer?

My Fake Boyfriend is Better than Yours hits shelves August 31st. I would totally recommend it. Hope you gals had/are having a great summer!

I was very fortunate to get to review Halo by Alexandra Adornetto before the publishing.

The only thing I feel I should warn about is the deeply Christian mythology. As a Jew, I felt uncomfortable. If this isn't something you'd like to be reading, don't read it. Otherwise, you should enter with a free mind.

Here are my top ten favorite things about it:

The details. The writing was beautiful and absorbing. The details weren't all consuming and they didn't override the story (that would be purple prose) but I felt like I was there are the same time. The romance. It was sweet and quiet, and while the main character was infatuated from the start, their relationship grew at a realistic pace. The mythology. While a lot of it is based on Christian angels, it was still fascinating. The characters. They were fresh and realistic. Funny and flat, great, varied characters. I loved it. The storyline. It made sense. I loved the story, and can't wait for the sequel. The end. If there's one thing I love, it's a tear-jerker. I won't tell you anything, but the end had me crying. The idea in general. I like the point of view of the mythological creature instead of the mortal in a mortal/mythological relationship. Bella's a human, Raven's a human, Grace's a human (sort of. I really don't know), blah, bored already! It was new. I learned from it. If you have religious Christian parents, its all the basics you already know. But I'm Jewish. Have been. Since I was born. It was nice for me to learn about a religion I'm surrounded by, but have no idea about. The messages. As usual, good will drive out the darkness. I can't say anything else. THE LOGIC! A lot of the time, I find fantasy stories dropping off and not explaining things. The author tidied up everything they created to make it fit.

I would recommend for 12 or 13+.

Hadley here to tell you about a VERY GOOD BOOK I read over the summer. It's called Radiance by Alyson Noel. This book will be coming out in September 2010. It is about a twelve-year-old girl named Riley Bloom who lives in the world of Here above the earth plane. Each ghost gets a job. She has been titled "Sould Catcher" and her first task is to give the Radiant Boy or should I say boys an extra "push" over the bridge. But when she meets her guide, Bodhi, she isn't too impressed. But that's just the jist of the story.

In this book I really liked...

1. How the author makes this character, Riley, seem like a REAL twelve-year-old. With myself being twelve I really can connect to her and she truely seems like she has the problems, wants, and the style of a girl my age.

2. The comebacks. I think the comebacks and remarks in this book are funny, clever, and definetly something a tween would say depending on who the person she is talking to is.

3. The story line. It just is unique and I have never read anything like it before. The way the author creates her own "Heaven" and the way it works.

4. The wording. I like how there are some nice word choices here and there making it enjoyable for advanced readers but she uses them so if you didn't know what they meant you could still understand it. That benefits younger readers as well.

5. How it grabs you. The story captures me in the first chapter. It is a few lines long but is very powerfull. It's job is to capture you so you want to continue on with the journey by reading.

6. How it puts you in the book. I was reading a chapter or two in my room. Normally when the phone rings, no matter what, I jump to it and pick it up. I was so into the story that I didn't even hear it ring. After, my parents asked me "Why didn't you jump for the phone?".

7. The chapter size. Some are short, some are long, and some are just right. This allows me to say "Okay, I'll read one chapter now, and another later!".

8. The names of the characters. In the beginning, cheerleader girl says the speaker is Perseus. With my being Greek, I know he is a Greek demi-god in Greek Myths. Now I still am not sure if that was meant to be the same person but I like how she used that name. I also like Bodhi's name.

9. The book size. This book can be a quick read. No doubt it's something I'd like to read again.

10. The whole thing overall. I must admit there is not one thing I don't like about this book. I just listed it all the pros and there are no cons. I would rate it FIVE STARS if I was a critic. And I guess I am. Now I have something to look forward to, the second book coming out in Spring 2011. Give this book a chance if you are able to your hands on it in September.

Be like amermaid,

~Hadley!

I just read an amazing boom titled 'My Fake Boyfriend is Better Than Yours' by Kristina Springer :)

There was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many things I ahbsolutely loved about the book, but here's 5 (:

1. I could totally relate to the main character, best-friend wise (:

2. It was perfectly detailed (:

3. I totally loved how no matter what the main character did, her problem either got TOTALLY worse, or barely better. It was humorus (:

4. All the popular girls reminded me of the girls at my school, and it sorta told me, you just have to be yourself and that you dont HAVE to be popular (:

5. I loved how the main character was so nonchalant around her best friend (:

You HAVE to read this book! It was amazing and it was truly funny (:

Good morning, my fellow Reporters & lovely girls of Allykatzz!

A few days ago I had the immense pleasure of interviewing the amazing author, Angie Frazier.

Recently, Mrs. Frazier has written her first book, Everlasting, & the book intrigued me so much I had to ask her for an interview!

Mrs. Frazier graciously accepted & I asked her twelve questions about her, her writing & her inspiration. I had so much fun! She was funny, & made me smile & laugh a lot. Mrs. Frazier is definitely what I would want to be like when I become an author. (; I really enjoyed her answers, they were awesome, so I hope YOU love this interview just as much as I do!!

1. Your book,  Everlasting,  is an alluring story about a young adult girl, Camille. Is her character based on anyone you know? Camille is definitely her own person. I don’t know anyone quite like her, but I think if I did, I’d want to be her friend!

2. When did you first discover your love for writing? I must have been six or seven, or however old I was when I learned to write. I loved to write stories, and even drew pictures to go along with them. However, I soon discovered art was not my strength! Words were, though, so I kept at it.

3. Is there a message in your book that you want readers to get? Honestly, I don’t want to tell my readers what message to find within the story. I want them to discover it for themselves, even if it’s not the one I had in mind when I wrote it. Everyone experiences a book in a different way—and every way is the right way.

4. If you had to do it all over, is there anything you would like to change in your book? Yes! Just about every single sentence! I’m proud of my book, but the perfectionist writer in me will not rest, even when a book is in print. I just know that I have to move on to the next project.

5. Are you planning on a sequel to  Everlasting? Absolutely! It’s due to release in June 2011. The title and cover will be unveiled in the fall. I am so excited about this next book!

6. Everlasting has everything: romance, adventure, secrets, magic. Which authors are your main source of inspiration or who inspired you? So many authors! I love honest romance, where the girl doesn’t obsess or cling to a boy out of need. Jane Austen was a big inspiration for that. But I also like a little bit of tragedy, too, so Edith Wharton and Shakespeare inspired me there. I also adore Sarah MacLean, MM Kaye, Suzanne Collins, Cassandra Clare, Natalie Babbitt.

7. I wish that adventure like that could happen every day! If you could, would you jump into your book & live Camille's life? If I could jump in and out of my books whenever I wanted, I would be in heaven! I don’t think I could handle Camille’s life full time, but a visit here and there would be awesome! Especially if I got to jump into Everlasting’s chapter 12 (*waggles eyebrows deviously*)

8. You have a book called  The Midnight Tunnel: A Suzanna Snow Mystery coming out next year. Is this book written in the same style as  Everlasting, or did you make a big change in your writing? It’s a big change! It’s in first person instead of third person, and the narrator is an 11-year-old girl. More than anything else in the world, Zanna wants to be a detective just like her famous uncle, Detective Bruce Snow. Zanna’s voice is completely different from Camille’s, and was actually much easier to write! I really connected with her.

9. I know that I will be reading  The Midnight Tunnel for sure, I am addicted to mysteries! Is Suzanna's character based on you? Suzanna seems very different from Camille to me & I wanted to know if your inspiration came from a different place. Zanna is definitely more like me than Camille. I loved mysteries as a kid (still do!), and just writing in first person brought me so much closer to Zanna than I ever felt to Camille. I don’t think I could ever base a character on myself—I feel I’m way too boring for that!—but Zanna does have my longing for adventure and mystery.

10. Will you be writing a sequel to The Midnight Tunnel, or making it into a series? I’m nearly finished with the second Suzanna Snow mystery (releasing in 2012), and I am very hopeful it will become a short series. I don’t want to have the books go on and on forever…perhaps four or five in all. But I’m having too much fun with Zanna to say goodbye to her right now!

11. If you could have lunch with the characters from your books, what would you tell them? I would ask them to please be less complex because really, they can be tough to figure out! I’d tell Camille to open up more and not hide her feelings so much; I’d tell Oscar he has really nice muscles; I’d tell Ira he shouldn’t gamble; and I’d tell Zanna to keep dreaming big!

12. Would you like your books to be made into movies? If so, who would you consider to be your dream cast? Well just about everyone I’ve fantasized about this with says that Alex Pettyfer would be the ideal Oscar (and I heartily agree!), and that Lucy Hale would be a lovely Camille. If Zanna were to ever be cast, I would just hope there was a young actress out there who looks exactly like the girl on the cover (which will be revealed this fall too!).

Well, this interview has been wonderful, I really loved asking you these questions!  ;) Thank YOU Sarah, these were great questions!

Well, girls, what did you think? This was my very first interview, & my wish was that it would be with an author, & here we are!! I really like Mrs. Frazier, & I hope we can remain contact. (;

I remember the day like it was yesterday. Sitting at lunch, all alone. No friends to talk to and laugh with. No one. To everyone, I was just a chubby, little, weird 9 year old that had no business at school. They'd pick on me... They'd say I look like a fish, or they'd say I was fat and needed to lose weight. The more they made fun of me, the more I ate. I just sat there, eating my feelings away. Silly little Emma, I was. I didn't know where to turn or what to do. My mom was never home, and dad wasn't in the picture...

I can't recall quite how it happened, The day I met Jack. All I remember was he changed my life. I wasn't alone anymore, I had someone that was there for me. That's all I ever wanted, all I ever needed. I remember the day he told me he loved me. Of course, we were 9, but I knew he meant it. Truth is, I loved him too. And I still do. The fact that I love him so much is the reason I cried for hours when I went to school, and everyone told me he moved and wasn't ever coming back. I dreamed that one day, he'd come back for me and we'd fight through all the rough spots together. I was his only friend. He was my only friend. We fit together more than anyone else. But years passed, and Jack never came back...

So, that's the first part, I know its short, but that's all I could think of now. Comment and tell me what you think :) And tell me what you think might happen to Emma and Jack :)

This was a book about three angels who descend onto Earth to do good. Gabriel, the archangel, the warrior, Ivy, the healer, and Bethany, the least experienced, the most human. When Bethany falls in love in love with a mortal, Xavior Woods, the angels think that all will go wrong, will it? This was most definitely one of the best books I've ever read. It was a cross between a love story, an adventure, and lots of other things put together. I couldn't put the book down, I was intrigued by the author's vocabulary, she is only seventeen, and this isn't even her first book. Her first book, "The Shadow Thief" was published when she was only fourteen and was very popular in her home, Australia. I would definitely this book if you like love stories, of two people who shouldn't be together, if you love reading a book with suspense, action, and adventure. This has to be one of the best books I've read lately, and I read ALOT, so that's saying something. But, read this book, its amazing, seriously.

Hey girlies!

Being a reporter is super-fun, especially when some fun perks come up like My Fake Boyfriend is Better than Yours! It was an awesome book about a 7th grader named Tori who's best friends with a girl named Sienna . . . At least she was until Sea's family got rich and jetted off for a summer in the Keys, and Sienna comes back with highlights, lowlights, an iPhone, cute new clothes, a gaggle of popular girls following her around, and a new, perfect boyfriend. Tori's convinced Sea is making this guy up, so she makes up a cute, fantastic, perfect boyfriend of her own. Everything is going great until Sea's FBF turns out to be real, and everyone's pressuring them to take their new boyfriends to the back to school dance. What's a girl to do? Anyways, these are my top 10 reasons why you should read "My Fake Boyfriend Is Better Than Yours"!

10) I loved the format! Kristina Springer mixed it up . . . She used a traditional novel format, but she threw in some e-mails that Tori sent and websites that Tori visited to make it interesting! How cool!

9) Who wouldn't want a BF like Sebastian, Tori's FBF? I mean, saving little kids from a burning building? Swoon!

8) Even though Tori and her friends sometimes have to make decisions about hard things, like how much is to much to give up to become popular, an alcoholic teacher, and telling the truth, they come out of it stronger and happier.

7) The great messages! Want mom to buy you this book? Tell her about the great themes, especially "A good friend comes before a boyfriend- be he real or not- every time." and she'll be racing out to grab you your own copy!

6) The funny moments . . . Tori's BF is named Sebastian Colonder . . . Inspiration: The cafeteria kitchen!

5) Great writing!

4) Tori talks like a real girl . . . She was totally honest and naturally funny!

3) It was authentic! I could feel myself cringing along with Tori, feeling sorry for her, and feeling triumphant when it all worked out!

2) It was hilarious! You'll laugh out loud!

1) Tori and her friends are totally real . . . They're typical tweens who love what we love and worry about what we worry about . . . You'll fall in love!

-Ali

OKAY! here is chapter 4. I figured I will post it early cuz well       &nbs p;        It'z me b-day! Well anyway this is Chapter 4! Hope you like it!...

********************************************

The last thing I remember was kissing Kieran and then blacking out. Which to me, that really sucks. I was in a half-conscius state when I heard a door open and someone walk in. Then a voice said, ''Kieran, your mother and father wish to see you in the Chamber.'' If Kieran was here, I wanted to see him. I moved my hands out to the bed's sides. I heard a gasp, and someone rush over to me.

''Katilian, '' I heard Kieran's voice say. I forced my eyes open and said, ''Lalala Elmo's world!'' I laughed at that and saw Kieran trying not to laugh. ''Oh come on Kieran, loosen up. That always got you.'' I said. He nodded. ''Though were are we? Cause your house was never like this.'' I asked, because the room had stone walls and a chandlier. It was like a royal bedroom. He smiled and said, ''We are in my real house. My mother and father's castle.'' I nodded, surprised that Rosalina was telling the truth. ''My parents are surprised that a Darkk Angel princess loves me, and doesn't want to kill me.'' He said. I sighed and nodded,

I sat up, and grabbed his hand. He smiled and squezzed my hand. I smiled and got up out of the bed. I was in a black nightdress. "Ugh, can I get normal clothes?'' I asked, looking at Kieran. He laughed and pointed at a closet. I nodded and opened it to find it was filled with dresses. ''Ugh... Regular clothes.' I said. He laughed and and pointed to the drawers.

I open them up to find black jeans and an array of shirts. I waved Kieran out, and he left. I changed and walked out. He put his arm around my waist and lead me towards a giant door. ''Past this door is the Chamber, where my parents are waiting.'' He said, pushing open the door.

Ingrid Law, Newberry Award Winning Author, is back with another thrilling adventure from the Beaumont family! Scumble, the companion book to her first novel Savvy,is now in stores. With the release of Scumble last week, Ms. Law was so kind to take the time to answer my questions for all of you!

Ingrid shares her own embarrassing 'back to school' story (let me tell you it's worth a read), where she gets the ideas for all those awesome “Savvy” talents, her favorite tall tale, and MORE! Read on for this interview crammed with creativity!

GL:Gina L. IL: Ingrid Law

GL: In your latest book, Scumble,we fast forward nine years to the story of Mibs's cousin Ledge.  Did you enjoy writing from a boy's perspective?
IL:I did enjoy it. Ledge was fun to write. But I also enjoyed creating some great new girl characters to balance out the book. Gypsy Beaumont was only three years old inSavvy. But inScumble, Gypsy is twelve (almost thirteen) and readers will get to know her better, as well as be introduced to the twin cousins mentioned briefly inSavvy—the girls who got their savvy levitation talents at five years old, and are now fourteen. There is also a nosy thirteen year old girl named Sarah Jane who has her own newspaper and threatens to discover and expose the family’s secrets.

GL: When you first wroteSavvydid you intend for a companion book to follow?
IL: Not initially, no. Though by the time I was done with all the revisions to the book, I knew I wanted to write another one.

GL:Savvys aren't your average super powers, what inspires your characters' unique talents?
IL:I wanted to pick powers for my main characters that would reflect the things they need to discover most about themselves as they grow up. Mibs, inSavvy, learns to trust her own voice instead of all the others she hears inside her head. Ledge, inScumble, needs to learn how to cope when he feels like everything is falling apart—and while everything IS actually falling apart—all around him. I also wanted to give the powers a tall-tale feel and sense of American magic.

GL: When did you first discover your passion for writing?

IL:I’ve always loved making up stories in my head, but I did not start writing many of those stories down until I was older. I wrote my first novel-length work when I was in college. I was taking a detective fiction class and it inspired me to write my own mystery, one with a feisty female detective as the main character. That was the first time I became really excited about writing.

GL: When you aren't writing enchanting adventures what is your favorite pastime?
IL: When I’m not writing, you’ll usually find me doing something else that involves stories: reading, going to the movies, listening to audio books or to music. I also love to sew—especially costumes and artistic fiber creations. This summer, I’ve been trying my hand at amigurumi (Japanese crocheted animals and figures) and have managed to make a few cute mice, but my attempts at other creatures have turned out woefully lumpy and lopsided, or squished and pathetically scrunchy. Even so, I find it fun and my failed attempts make me laugh.

GL: If you weren't an author what career would you pursue?
IL:I’d love to be a word archeologist if there is such a thing: a historical linguist—an Indiana Jones of language, traveling the world and having adventures while looking for lost and precious vocabulary words buried in gold boxes. I can’t help it, I’m a total word-nerd. Though, I might shy away from such a profession if I had to navigate through spider webs and snakes.

GL: Growing up what was your favorite Tall/Fairy Tale?

IL: I remember listening to the storyThe Steadfast Tin Soldier and finding it terribly, hauntingly, terrifically tragic. Perhaps I liked it because the Tin Soldier is not a perfect prince. He is flawed, a toy made with only one leg. But often it is imperfection that makes a character most interesting—the most human—even if that character is just a tin toy who falls in love with a paper ballerina.

GL: Something make-believe you wish were real?
IL:House elves! But I’d be really good to mine, setting them free in hopes that they’d come back to cook and clean for me. Or animal familiars. I’d love to have some mystical animal that would always be with me as a companion and protector.

GL: It's back to school time!  Do you have any advice or tips to share with us?  Could you divulge your own embarrassing school story?

IL:Summer can provide the space and time to reinvent oneself, to start fresh with new styles and attitudes at the beginning of the school year. It can be fun to play around with different looks and mindsets, but always remember to be true to yourself and your values, and to know who your real friends are—the ones who will stick by you no matter what you look like, what you do, or what you wear—friends who like you simply for who you are.

My first day of seventh grade was pretty embarrassing. I had hoped to reinvent myself over the summer and surprise everyone with a new hairstyle… Unfortunately, I was talked into letting my grandmother give me a home perm. It turned out awful! Completely frizzy and tangled all the time! And there was nothing I could do (aside from shaving my head) to fix it. It was not the look I’d been hoping for. That was a really nice day to have a best friend who lied to me and told me that my hair looked fine, even as the boy I had a crush on made fun of me. I still keep in touch with that friend to this very day.

GL: If you could invite 3 people to dinner (living or dead) who would they be and why?
IL:That’s a hard question! I’m torn between who would be the most interesting and who would be the most fun. But I’m thinking that a dinner with William Shakespeare, Jack Black, and Annie Oakley could be nothing but memorable (and maybe a little rowdy).

GL: Secretly, in the back of your mind have you ever thought of writing a vampire story?
IL:Vampires? No. But I have tried to imagine what might happen if a mermaid was bitten by a werewolf. I never stop my imagination from getting silly.

---Savvy had me hooked from the first page, and I'm sure we can expect nothing less fromScumble! You don't have to be a Beaumont to possess a super power, each and every person has a talent all their own. I'd like to say thank you to Ingrid! - I'mSO glad I received the chance interview you. It was a delight and a half!
