I am really dang nervous. The auditions for my church's Christmas play are today, and I really wanna get the lead.

The play is about these Christmas ornaments, and how they are all excited about Christmas. The family who owns them (the Watsons) goes to Hawaii for their anniversary and pick up this hula girl ornament as a souvineur. The hula girl expects to be accepted by the other ornaments, but is instead made fun of.

"What do YOU have to do with CHRISTMAS?"

"I...I don't know..."

She even sings this song about how she's all depressed and emo and everything. I've always wanted to play an emo part, it's so different from who I am. I'm always so happy!

But anyway, I really, really, REALLY hope I get the part. Wish me luck!

 Hey chicas! I'm a Muslim, so I celebrate Ramadan (30 days of AWSOME!) Today's the 12th day I believe, and I'm fasting till the 30th day. Fasting doesn't just mean food, it also means icky behavior, and guarding your eyes, ears, mouth, nose, and hands from evil! Do any other chicas celebrate Ramadan? I wanna know!!! And also there's this AMAZING artist named Lilly (or Illy) Muzliza who draws really well! Do any of you chicas know if she has a website or something? Tell me if she does! I wanna know! And today, I read One Piece, and now I'm in love with it! My current fav manga are ChocoMimi (which will have a new volume in November), Karakuri Odette, One Piece, and (kinda) Pokemon Adventures! Today I also got a charm bracelet and necklaces! I have this Haruhi Suzumiya charm from an anime convention I went to (which ROCKED, by the way!) and a mushroom I made myself! I also got 3 books from Barnes and Noble, so I'm like HAPPY!!!!

Yeah, I know, I have no reason to be thinking about Chritmas because 1) July has passed, so no more Christmas in July, and December is about 4 months away. But for some reason, I really want Christmas to be here. It actually started when I was watching Hannah Montana Forever. (Don't judge me!) I am even starting on my Christmas list! When you think about the heat, the sun, the bugs, all you can think about is the cold, the snow, hot chocolate, missing school for snow days. It all sounds wonderful right now! I can taste the hot chocolate on my lips, and the gooeyness of the melting marshmellows! I can practically smell the cinnomin candles in my grandma's house on Christmas Eve and I can picture my cousin dressed in some new winter fashion. So, I've been thinking about my favorite part of Christmas, and that would probably be seeing all my family! I know the 'true meaning of Christmas' and I would go to church but I have to go to my grandma's house on Christmas Eve. (Holidays are busy for me, I have two family's, parents are split.) So the reason i cant wait is cuz me and my bff kayla r going to be lady gaga and ke$ha for halloween!! its going to be INSANE! I'm going as Ke$ha and kayla is going as Gaga!

So im really excited. For ke$ha makeup im going to do:

 either gold lipstick or gold glitter on my lips (we both tried the glitter lips and it looks AMAZING)

I'll possibly put a dollar sign on my cheek in black glitter.

And I'll just have REALLY heavy liner OR rainbow-neon shadow 

 fake lashes=)

I can do wavvy ke$ha hair really good too (i can get my hair to just go everywhere in a reallly naturally wavvy/crazy sort of way;)

for the outfit we were thinking:

leggings/rippedskinny jeans

slouchy boots

layered tank tops OR a baggy tee

and of course shiny things!!!!

And for lady gaga kayla is going to get:

blonde wig

huge sunglasses

high heels

And for the makeup i'll probably do on her:

Hey girls! I was thinking about starting something new, so I'm going to run the ideas by you guys. Ever since I was in 3rd grade (I'm going into 9th now, btw) I have been in complete and utter love with Broadway. I've been performing all of my life, and I know musicals, songs, directors, and a lot more about Broadway. If there are any girls on here like and or are interested in Broadway and the performing artsplease reply to this blog, OR send me a shout out! <3 I'll write blogs every week, discussing musicals, shows, actors, directors and more! I'll also give you tips on performing, and even some vocalises! I take vocal lessons every week, and I have some great tips to help you girl out!
Also, if you guys want make-up tips, I will write blogs every week on how to do make-up, product reviews, tutorials, and other aspects of make-up (such as contouring and eyebrows). If you are interested in make-up, and would like for me to do this,please reply or send me a shout out!

I know you've all got a song that can be classified as your "song of the summer". [I do, too - believe me, I do.] Here's the songs that particularly defined SUMMER '10 for me:

 

•The High Road - Broken Bells.  First heard this song in Texas on summer vacation and instantly fell in love. Been hearing it all summer long and singing along. :)

•Again - Flyleaf.  Sang this song at the camp talent show and everyone said I was amazingnessosity. :)

•Alejandro - Lady Gaga.  One of the few summer mainstream songs I actually like by one of the only mainstream pop singers I can tolerate. :)

•Je ne Regrette Rien - Cinema Bizarre.  It's a gorgeous song that just has somewhat of a summery feel to it. :)

•September - Deep Insight.  Okay, okay... it was also a Summer '09 song. But I "rediscovered" Deep Insight this summer and that song STILL has me in tears whenever I hear it. :)

•Unfaithful - Rihanna.  I realized just how much I liked the "old" Rihanna, particularly this song, "Disturbia", and "Don't Stop the Music" [also known as Strify's favorite song... maybe that's why I like it.] I remember listening to these back in fourth and fifth grade and adoring them. :)

•Jealous Sky - Negative.  Arguably the best song that has come out this summer. First encountered it a few weeks ago through NRJ Nettiradio [a Finnish internet radio station] and fell in love with it. Nice, semi-slow summery tune. :)

•If You Only Knew - Shinedown.  Another one that I loved in Summer '09, but rediscovered. VERY summery, love-songy, overall awesomeness. Is the ringtone on my cell phone. :)

•The Catalyst - Linkin Park.  Sorry, Negative, but I think Linkin Park's got you beat on Best Song of Summer '10...! Sounds just like what would happen if Linkin Park was a Finnish rock band. Somewhat dark, gothic, depressing, unsummery... but hey, it was released during the freakin' SUMMER, so it still counts. :)

•Lovesongs (They Kill Me) [Dave Aude Remix] - Cinema Bizarre.  Techno remix of the ever-popular Cinema Bizarre single; very catchy and bright. Like mainstream pop, except techno-ier with Strify on vocals. :)

•Kukka - Uniklubi.  I admit, it's not particularly "summery"... but it's a gorgeous acoustic song, and acoustic songs SCREAM summertime for me. See below. :)

•Got What I Came For - Lovex.  I was the biggest fan of this song back in late winter '10, but even then, I knew it was meant for the summer. Another great acoustic piece from my favorite band ever.

i can't bring myself to believe that summer is more than halfway over. if you'd asked me last month what i "thought" i would be doing over break, i would have replied with something like;; finishing my infinite book list, working, & sleeping in.

but nope -- that's not how my summer went at all, surprisingly. i've been hanging out with people almost every night these past few weeks. mostly with my friends and boyfriend at the skatepark, but even those short nights by myself have been wonderfooool. <3

but, i've also had to witness a lot of my close friends and even moving to different states for college, jobs, or just chasing their newly found freedom. it's sad, but i'll be in their shoes in a couple of years, so i'm not too worried about missing them. just wait until i get my own car.. ;]

       If your not muslim then you probably don't know what Ramadan is. So i'll explain to you guys. Mostly the only muslim people I know are either not my friends, family, or my sisters friends. Any way during Ramadan you fast . No food or water until sundown for a month. You don't have to until your twelve. One time when I was little I tried but my sister tempted me with chocolate chip waffles. How could I resist!? at the end there are billions of parties were your family feeds you to death. To me it's like Christmas. So thats all. And Ramadan Mubarack to everyone who celebrates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

Hey katz!

You know how summer is coming to an end? Well lets take a momment, stop thinking about school and how its coming up. Instead, lets think about our favorite parts of summer and how this summer was AWESOME! ok?

I'll start first. My favorite part of my summer was going to Kauai! It was beautiful there. We went to the beach almost everyday! The best part was that nobody fought. Also, the funny part about Kauai is that it can be 80F and raining!! lol.

It was also awesome because of jg's (junoir lifeguards). We swam in the freezing water, ran, played beach flags, water flags, and did mock rescues. Also, for free time I grabbed a buggyboard and hopped into the water. I love junoir lifeguards!

Thats not all, today im seeing a play with my best friend! My other best friend is in the play! It will be cool. Then, Im doing a play myself!

hey hello hi xx

I'm going on my vacation soon with my mom. Actually, we are going in a little more then 2 weeks. I am so flipping happy. I get to go to the mall, waterparks, and the occasional amazing Italian restaurant. ♥

The days will go by quick. I usually stay up till 3am, wake up at noon, take a shower, go outside if it is sunny, eat, and then it repeats.

You know it's summer when you forget what day it is. (:
