I know 1 outta 2 people in this site think life ultimately SUCKS half of the time.

Well, I was flipping through my journal, and I had wrote a lot of stuff about life that really just sucked. And then i read my latest entry. And I realized: hey, this isn't so diffrent from a old entry I had that wasn't so long ago(a few months ago)!

Which means, if you do the math: bad things that are going on now won't last so long. So, is it so bad to look beyond the bad stuff, to look toward the good stuff, the shining sun?

(Because, *hint hint*, the bad stuff won't really be so bad once you just get over it)

And why can't we be woman warriors riding on our white horses, through the fog, into the sunset?

Can't we be like, "Heck YAH, I'm AWESOME, I'm INDEPENDENT, and I'm POSITIVE!!!"

i've been feeling very determined lately. like, i'm trying to get all A's. i'm also attempting to get into a good magnet, private, or boarding school. i joined newspaper and environmental club. i'm trying all new things and feeling a little braver. like, i'll raise my hand in class and volunteer more often. also, a group of girls who i don't get along with is joining yoga..and i loove yoga!  none of my friends are doing it, but i am. i am not revolving my life around my friends this year - i am doing what i want to do. is it bad to say that your proud of yourself? well, i'm not quitting. i'm going through with this - mainly because nobody believes i can. especially my mom. but i WILL. i think everyone should have something they are motivated and determined to do. i feel fearless <3
