I should have written this yesterday but I got home so late, the concert didn't end untill 11:30. And we had to drive from downtown. Here is the background knowledge on why we have Independance Day!!!!!!!!During the American Revolution, the legal separation from Great Britain occured on July 2, 1776, when the Second Continental Congress voted to approve a resolution of independence that had been proposed in June by Richard Henry Lee of Virginia. After voting for independence, Congress turned its attention to the Declaration of Independence, a statement explaining this decision, which had been prepared by a committee with Thomas Jefferson as its principal author. Congress debated and revised the Declaration, finally approving it on July 4. A day earlier, John Adams had written to his wife Abigail:The second day of July, 1776, will be the most memorable epoch in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more.Adams's prediction was off by two days. From the outset, Americans celebrated independence on July 4, the date shown on the much-publicized Declaration of Independence, rather than on July 2, the date the resolution of independence was approved in a closed session of Congress.
One of the most enduring myths about Independence Day is that Congress signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. The myth had become so firmly established that, decades after the event and nearing the end of their lives, even the elderly Thomas Jefferson and John Adams had come to believe that they and the other delegates had signed the Declaration on the fourth. BIG news in the the sports world.....VENUS WILLIAMS BEAT HER SISTER, SERENA, AT WIMBLEDON!!! It was the first Williams sisters final AT ANY TOURNAMENT since 2003. Back then it was also a Wimbledon final but with a different outcome...Serena beat Venus in 2003. These sisters just can't be stopped...between them they have won 6 of the last 8 Wimbledon titles. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

well, it doesn't matter if you want the good news or the bad news first. because i'll get the bad news out. you know the Immortal fish? (read immortal fish blog.) she commited suicide. yep, she died. and my mom gave me a cream cheese begal (you know the round things with the hole in it. idk how to spell it.) and salmon on it and i threw up because it was fish. NEway, MY SIS AND I ARE ACTUALLY SINGING AT THE FAIR!!!!! I AM SOOOOO EXITED.

I justt wanted to sayy that I won't be on from July 5th-12th, because I will be Up North (: I can't waitt--> swimming in the lake, going shopping, being with family.. ahhhh.

today i became eligible for a drivers permit. ive been taking driving c;asses three hours a day, three days a week for the last 3 weeks (wow thats a lot of threes!) well i turn 15 on the 25th so i cant take my permit test until then, but today in class we had our final and i passed with flying colors by getting a 99%!! go me! i got the highest grade in the class. so on the 25th you bet your butt im marchin on down to the classroom to take my permit test adn within 10 mins ill be driving home! YES!

Well today, I went to a funeral, with Richard. I went with him to his Uncle's funeral. I got to meet alot of his family too. It was such a great ceremony. The pastor really caught ahold of the important parts of his uncle. I never knew him but from what I had heard the paster did a great job. And Richard he looked so insanly handsome. He always looks cute but he looked.....wow! I think I really connected with his family more today too. Then after the funeral and everything alot of the family went back to Richards. I had a good time. I think it brought me closer to his mom and his sister and them, so that was good on my part. And I may see him tomorrow. But I'm gonna go because I'm not in the best of moods, at the moment.

Has anyone been in any natural disasters? I was once in a tornado(its very unlikely around here but it happened!)..The sky was really greenish..it was kinda gray too...and I was ONLY 5..i was so scared I RAN to my mom..we all had to rush into the basement..it was so scary some of our roof shingles flew off but it luckily JUST PASSED over us..but i was SCARED 2 death! what bout u? have u had anything lk this happen to u? can this b on C&N? i wanna know stuff so i can b prepared nxt time

I still need a couple more people to help out with my newspaper. The positions are music, movies, technology, fashion and beauty&health. I think I also will have a little helper that will help me edit the articles and help me communicate with the other members. It seems that a giraffe in a traveling circus in Amsterdam rounded up his pals and planned an escape. The giraffe kicked open a fence, leading the pack, and walked out. Following behind her were several camels, llamas, and a lone, pot bellied pig. Circus life just wasn't for them any more, I guess. Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it, police and circus employees were able to round them up shortly after the escape. They did get to walk around a residential neighborhood and rile up a dog before they were caught! Can you imagine seeing a giraffe walk past your house??

Aye, Im Natalie:) Or I go by Natural, NATural! Get it; Got it; Good! Im 12 almost 13 and going into 8th grade. My best friend is Allie, on here she is Livin4MyLord !. I like lacrosse, track, waterskiing, and snowboarding. Im a total tomboy, like Allie! My favorite color is green, my favorite food is fruit, and I love to wear sweats:) I am a straight A student, popular, and Im very athletic. If youu have heard of Paramore, you probablyy know them by their songs "Misery Business" and "CrushCrushCrush" but theyy have a lot of other songs. Paramore was formed in Franklin, TN. The lead singer, Hayley Williams, (in the picture) is always noticedd for her awesome hair style. But she also has an amazing voice. All of the members of Paramore blend greatly togetherr.

o my gosh, this elijah guy hes been crushin on me since i met him! I said so are you new to this club he said , "ya" i said yeah i could tell. then 2day he finally told me he liked me! he said hey i have crush on you! but he said it really fast so i said wut? 2 mke sre i herd rite and he said it again fast, then isaid wut? and he changed the subject and said i thought you weren't comin 2day! i said well ya plans change. hes always flirting w/ me like once he tried to lean by me at the pool table but he got his finger stuck in the hloe at the bottom! i dnt no if ishood ask him out or tell him i like him.
