2008. We all know that this has to be one of the most shocking years in the history of history. Britney Spears actually got her act together; Jamie Lynn had a baby; The economy is crushing beneath us; and the most notable-the election of the first black president. I myself had my own fair share of suprises, even let downs, but I can't really say anything bad about the year. Tomorrow is the last day we have here in this fair year and I would like to wish it well. I really can't believe that soon 2008 will be the past and we all were just so luck enough to live through it. Now, if this isn't too much to ask, have any of you made New Years resolutions? Malia and Sasha move to DC in less than 3 weeks and we want them to love their new city! DC is a great place to live and to visit. There are a gazillion restaurants, diners, fast food joints, candy stores and so much more. We want to make life easy for Malia and Sasha and give them a list of the BEST PLACES TO EAT. We need your help to do this. I am so happy that Obama has one the election. Yes, I am African-American and I am glad that he made history. But that is DEFINITLEY not the only reason why I am so happy. First of all, My family is a christian, democratic family so if Obama was Republican, I dont think we would be voting for him. I like how Obama cares about middle and lower classes and wants affordable healthcare. I do respect John McCain, I am sorry for all the Republicans that had to see John McCain's loss. John McCain is working with Barack Obama, so I think that America will become a much better place with a more stable economy. Abortion, I am ok with because Woman have the rights to do whatever they want to do with their body. I mean, I would probably send the baby to an adoption agency, but Based on the situtations some people are in Abortion is fine as long as its THEIR choice, and not someone elses. I do think racism is wrong, so as much as people decide not to vote for Obama because hes African-American, it is still wrong to vote for him because he is african american. Same goes for other candidates. I do hope that Sasha and Malia feel welcome in Washington, DC and wish them the best of luck.

Hi AllyKatzz! First off, I wanted to thank Kiley for the idea of this blog. This is a response to her blog, Dear Obama Girls. Hi Malia, and Sasha, the new First Girls. We know you must be scared, its pretty amazing to have your dad be the President of the United States. We also know that you must be feeling pretty up . . . and down. We've been there when it comes to moving, and having to leave all your friends. Don't worry, you'll still get to see them, and come back and visit Chicago. As for your new puppy, we're so happy that you get to have a fluffy bundle in the new house, and don't worry, you'll get over it taking leaks like they're going out of style! The Secret Service? Think of them as your new personal servants . . . fun for a while, then they get annoying. I'm sure you'll get some alone time too. What we want you to do. . . 1. Join AllyKatzz, we'd love to have you. 2. Have fun with living in the White House, and enjoy your life for the next 4 years. I know some of it might suck, like all the press around, but what about the awesome place to run around and play, and your new personal bodyguards-definetally some advantages there! Remember, whenever you feel the job gets to be to much, just sit back and relax. Its like a roller coaster, and you're along for the ride, so put up your hands and SCREAM! AS we all know Barak Obama and his family are moving to the white house.But for the girls did all that traveling pay off at the end?I mean if you were on of them how would you feel about it?I mean moving from Chicago it Washington D.C. leaving all their friends ,not being normal being known as the "The Presidents 2 daughters",not being able to do normal stuff like playing at th park going 2 the store instead being watched be security guards 24/7 watching every move.OR Is it good being able to get anything be given everthing free for being his daughtershaving a HUGE house and doing millions of stuff from having a a playhouse to a crafts room and a personal chef.Which one would you prefer it think i would like to have a normal life how about you? i wanna know!
