I've been gone for a while

Oh yes I have.

So...first off...I went to Hawaii. So here are some random facts about Hawaii that I already knew but it fun to ..tell:
-It's illegal to have billboards because it blocks the view
-They spell Hawaii like this: Hawai'i
-They even say Hawaii differently

Oh and I did go through that Tsunami by the way..that was triggered by the earthquake of Chile.
It was small and didn't really damage anything.

I'm sick of air planes. Sick of them.

I have a lot of poems to write....So much. I might post one of them on here.

so camp is this week & i'm like really nervous. we have 2 b w/ an adult 24/7! now doesn't that suck! it's 4 skool. & we don't get 2 hang out w/ any of the guys. i mean seriously!! i'm kinda happy it's just me & my friends, but i kinda wanna see my crush (mason) & my buddie francisco. but oh well.my dad is going on thursdsay night & i'm kinda emmbarrased 4 him 2 come but i probably won't see him because he's a guy. i can't even bring my cell but i probably will any way. i'm aloud 2 take my digital camera but not my cell. gotta go bye : )

HI PPLZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i came back on the 23rd and wuz busy ever since. it wuz beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the flowers here r nuthin compared 2 tropical flowers! there they smell like flowers, here, like couches. the colors r briter than u can blive! here , there r transparent and faded! i have friends! saw panjabis r so beautiful, met australians, peacocks,and saw the dunkin donuts donuts r so brite and colorful and full of happiness! the restuants r treated like celebrations, with pj reading parties and daily clown visits, private parks, beautiful walls. everything is a celebration!!!!!!! there so much history!!!!! i saw my great great great grandpas palace! a pic of my great great great grandma and posed with it! saw my religious prophet, muhammad's (SWS) or (PBUH) underwear! i saw my great x3 grandpa and grama's royal clothes, tapastries, made numerous friends and learned many games! i luv pakistan! im gonna be in a play!!!!!!!!!!!!! we usually have 2 preformances. one was this week, the other is next week. im technically a lead. tho i play 2 parts, the other is a clown. i hav 2 sit with the clowns and they r crazy!!!!!!!!!!! one actually broke the teachers fave autogrphed book!!!!!!!!!!!! ok only 2 r crazy and they broke while the others were tryin 2 stop em. SUCH JERKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! the ppl had 2 put clown make up on me. after that, no one took me seriously!!!!! i looked in the reflection in the window and screamed!!!!! NO ONE NOTICED!!!!!!! o well! i was nervous to death!!!! i asked nonstop questions cuz i missed many rehersals since i went 2 pakistan. i didnt kno anythin excpt my lines. actually i almost forgot them. but luckily i didnt. everyone said i wuz awesome!!!!!! i kept asking "REALLY!?" cuz i couldnt blive it! but i guess i wuz good 8)  every1 said my bff wuz their fave tho. coodnt blame em. she is totally awesome!!!!!!!!!!!! i told her wat every1s sayin and she was like " REALLY?! I WAS!? well u were the greatest too." im like "thnx. break a leg 4 next week! not literally! ( chuckle) and watever u do, do not say the name of the scottish play!" i old every1 that! lol! but my other friend  said it and im like " dude! i said not 2! now we r gonna have bad luck!" he chuckled a lil. i smiled 2. its nice 2 have good friends. ill tell u the name but watever u do, do not say it! especially in the midst of a play! macbeth! ill give u mor deets l8r cuz im runnin outta room so bye! nuthead out!

Russia is...a unique country by far. I have a few favorite stories about Russia dating back to WWII.

Another is the story of Russians jumping from planes without parachutes. The Soviet Union, at the time, had more people than supplies but still kept on fighting. The story goes that the paratroopers had started to get ready to take off when they were informed that there were no parachutes. Volunteers to try and stop the oncoming Panzer line were asked for, and the entire troop stepped forward. So, flying low to the ground, the Russians jumped out of the planes without parachutes and shot at the oncoming Germans. Not only did this happen several times, but it worked with minimal injury and death.

Some of the more notable stories, however, happened after the WWII, during the Cold War. When the plant at Chernobyl exploded, it caused huge fires and mass amounts of radiation. Firefighters and pilots worked together to put out the flames, often without protection. These men knew what they were doing but were willing to risk their lives to stop the flames. About a month later, all of the men who had fought against the fire died from radiation sickness.

You really have to admire these people for their bravery and sacrifice in the sake of their country. Truly, they are role models and heroes.

Marshelle was a small town girl...not well liked in her town. 

One day, she told herself "im gonna; be a famous singer one day, just wait world." So she wanted to make her dream of being a popstar and so she went to dermastic messures...She ran away from her lil' old tiny home, with a few t-shirts and pants, with the same socks and shoes she has been wearing for about 5 days.

it was about 12:00 A.M. when she was running away..about 3:00 A.M. when she got on a train heading to californa.."WOW! im a headin to dat big ol' city"

on the train, she saw this old lady.."hi there..im Marshelle, what's ur name?" "well there sweetheart, my name is Donna and were r u headed?" the lil' ol' lady said, "im a headin' to dat big city called callafornia, im gonna' be a singer!"

"well then,"Donna the lil' ol' lady said, "you can do it..just believe." she smiled at her, "thanks" "no problem"

A most interesting story I came across while reading Hetalia (and then followed up with my own investigating) is the one of the ninth Austrian president, Kurt Waldheim. It's somewhat laughable, but really it's just another one of those examples that shows what one person says destroying another person's chance completely.

For those of you who don't know; After WWII, when Austria regained independence, Kurt Waldheim ran for president. However, it was said that he served as a soldier in the German Army (which turned out to be false). Many countries disproved, but their attempts to discourage him winning only seemed to help him win....

Despite reports printed out that these claims were false, good ol' USA went ahead and banned not only him, but his wife, from entering the United States (where they still might be). He was also never formally invited to any other European Events, nor did he attend (most wise decision on his part, concerning his popularity) them.

He passed away just three years ago, and, on his request, no foreign government figure was invited....However, Syria and Japan did give him wreaths, an Italian governor, and a prince from Liechtenstein did attend.

After his death a two page article came out, apparently written by Waldheim. In this letter he asked forgiveness from those who criticized him...Truly, an admirable man.

Although, if you look back at USA, who did use actual former officers in the German Army for spying and espionage, well...That's a different story. Almost hypocritcal, even. =__=; Oh America.

  I am like so jealous of Cutecall! Like because I never ever got to skip school for a vacation, well nevermind because technically going to Disney World in the middle of winter wasn't my idea, but it was fun anyway. I got to be out of school for two weeks. Well, then we were having fun in our room when the manager came and told us that we couldn't be so loud. (Nice service:( right?) We talked to the people next to us and they were mean. Both could hardly hear what we were saying, so how could they hear the FUN we were having. Total change in their character! Hey girls!

 

I'm from Canada. Manitoba, if you want to get specific. I live in a city, like most of you girls out there, I hang out at the mall, the library, friends houses. I eat the same things you guys do, I live in a normal house in a nice neighbourhood with a (relatively) normal family. I'm like all of you guys, except quite possiblly more weird. I don't, however, snuggle up to polar bears at night, nor do I live in an igloo up North. Igloos don't have wireless internet. I need wireless internet. So I can go on Allykatzz :D

 

After a couple of questions via Shout Out from some cool AK girls out there, I realized that a ton of Americans don't know a ton about Canada. At school we learn about the US, and I'm curious, do Americans learn about us? It doesn't seem like you guys go quite as in depth about us, so I'll brief you really quick.

 

Canada is a lot like the United States, we have a democratic government, just like you, but we have a Prime Minister insted of a President, and a little bit of a different government. We have provinces, which are like states, and territories, which are basically the same thing as provinces. The only difference between states and provinces is that states are a lot smaller, and you have little sections in small squares or circles, whatever. Provinces in Canada go all the way up to the top, and all the way down to the bottom, which means that we're pretty much right beside you guys, only a couple of hours away at the bottom, but at the top, it's a lot colder because you're getting closer to the Arctic and such . . .

 

Where I live, I'm only a couple of hours from the US, so it does get freezing cold here in the winter, just like it might in North or South Dakota, or New York, or even Alaska! But it does get very warm here in the summer, warm enough that you go swimming and wear shorts and tee shirts, just like you gals! We have the same main language, English, but our second national language is French insted of Spanish, we learn that in school, same as you would Spanish. So as you see girls, the US and Canada are like fratenral twins . . . We're the same, but different! And just for the record, not many people live in igloos anymore . . . Though it definetally would be cool!

Narnia is incredible. I want to go there, cuz that would be just about the coolest thing ever!

Except for the evil tree's. Those are just not cool. At all. Other than the evil tree's though Narnia is the best place in the world. Or maybe the best place out of the world, beacuse Narnia isn't exactly in our world, which makes it very hard to get to.

I have seen alot of places that appear to be Narnia (the weird balcony thing in the stairwell at the hotel, the door that opened to another door, the roof outside the bathroom window, and the cave that isn't really a cave). It has become a type of standing joke between my friends that whenever we see something odd tat doesn't seem to have a purpose we call it a route to Narnia.

Well I'm off to have tea with Mr. Tumnus. Byeeee!

this summer i went to brazil..i went bcuz it was my grampas 100th birthday. everyone was so excited. i couldnt wait to go!!!! when we got to brazil we stayed at my aunts house..while we were there my uncle made delicious food.the next day we woke up at 6am everyday to go and explore aroung the country we took many pics..it was so beautifal!!!!!!!!! one day we went to the beaxh the water was frezzing but it was worth it..the beaches here are not like the ones in brazil.three days later we went to my grand parents house it was really big! i was so exited to meet them for the first time. they were really nice before i went i didnt know i realy had another family this big. i was really HAPPY THERE. to tell you the truth i rather live over there than be here all bored with nothing to do. OMG!!! IM SO TORN!!!!  i want 2 go 2 the wedding in pakistan cuz my flight leaves 2morrow, but there is rumor of a HUGE snowstorm. 2 ft high! in december we had like 3 ft high so its possible. 2morrow we mite have a snow day so i didnt do my homework. but if my flights 2morrow, we mite not b able 2 leave. yea, international flights r hardy, unlike local flights ( inside US only), but we still mite not b able 2 go!!! we leave 2morrow on wednesday, and the partys friday! WE MIGHT MISS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG! but i didnt do my homework so im hoping 4 a snow day, but not 2 big, so i can go 2 pakistan. pakistan is in asia, near afghanistan. i cant believe some1 said that i mite drive there! now i have 2 go! nuthead out!

I know the first thought that come is 'weird' isnt it? Lol, well, Erika La Tour Eiffel, 36, living in Fransisco admitted she was engaged with Eiffel Tower on 2008. Not only that, Eija-Ritta Berliner-Mauer, 55 admitted married with Berlin Wall for 29 years! She fallen in love with Berlin Wall for the first sight when she just 7 years old. Then on 17 June 1978 they are 'married'. Since that day she used her husband name 'Berliner-Mauer' which mean Berlin Wall bunched with her name. This people are called objectum-seksual (OS) which they attracted more with tower, objects, artifacts or etc instead of human. These people are not insane! but countinously consider that object is a living thing and has attitude like ordinary human being. Obviously, people like this has their own black history such as lacks of love, torture, and isolate by others. Because of that they begin to run from their pressure and love object that will never do such thing to them.

Its not a joke, its real stories, from real people, from real life.

I wonder if there is a guy married to Eiffel Tower? Hurm.. I wish that I could go to Paris. Its a wonderful place. Who can spend me a ticket to Paris for free? Lol, J/K.

Banefits of change

I used to live selfishly: all my decisions were made putting my own needs and wants as the first consideration. It seems rather corny to say that one moment changed my life, but i honestly feel that it did have a huge impact on me.

I was on my lunch break and had left the office to get something to eat. On the way, I saw a busker. This wasn't something out of the ordinary; there was always someone smart enough to busk near the office buildings during lunch.

As I walked past him, holding some coins in my hand, I thought to myself that he was only going to use the money to feed his addiction to drugs or alchohol. He looked like that type-young and ragged. Then I stopped, rather shocked at myself. What was I going to spend the money on? I only was going to feed my addiction to Coca-Cola or chocolate. I realised I had no right to place myself above him just beacuse he was busking.

I stopped and dropped all the coins into his hat and he smiled at me. I watched for a while. As selfish as it sounds, I expected something more to come from that moment. I wanted a natural high or even feeling of happiness, but nothing happened. So then I smiled and walked off, remembering why I never did things like that. It was a waste of money.

At the end of the day as I walked to the train station, I saw the busker packing up. I watched him pick up the hat and empty the money into a small plastic bag. Then he walk over a cafe counter and poured the entire contents into a tin collecting for a bushfire appeal.

He was busking for charity. I realised just how selfish I had been. It took someone to take my money and donate it into charity for me to realise how easy it is for me to do the same. I now donate any change I have to charity tins and enjoy the feeling of happiness for the rest of the day. You could say I'm now addicted to the feeling of giving.
