Omg you guys! I was just reading through some of my previous blogs and I was laughing at them because they were so negative and I was really complaining about my life. It's funny that one day your like that and the next perfectly ok. I really got got a crack out of the one titled something like "I just wanna run away but I'm stuck in this dumb old house". Yeah...I think that's it....so funny. Well, depressing actually, but funny to me because I can't believe what I wrote!!! Must have been having a bad day! lol Have you gone and read some of your old blogs and can't believe what you wrote or how you've changed over the months?? Well. if you haven't, you should! I bet you'll be surprised. =D

I was extremely LUCKY to be able to join the AllyKatzz town hall meeting and have my voice heard! It's an experience I will never forget, for the D'Mming to speaking up to the loads of free stuff. And our amazing host, Jess Weiner.
What did I want to talk about? Equality. Not boys. Not bras. I wanted to talk about REAL issues. And I was able to have my opinion stated: we are all on an equal slate. The only problem I had, though, was that the panel at the end didn't seem to understand to things. 1: I wasn't asking what I could do about racial discrimination ( I already know the answer), I was asking what THEY would do. 2: Of course, they automatically assumed that there was a white kid making fun of the blacks and Latinos. At my school, it's the other way around. The blacks and Latinos are making fun of the whites, Jews, and Asians - racial discrimination can come from anywhere.
Now, looking at the more positive side, I absolutely loved the A.L.L.Y Awards and the charities that they brought to speak. It's so amazing to see teens/tweens in action, and I especially liked 1>0 and Cupcakes for Cancer. 1>0 helps raise money to free African children in enslavement. Cupcakes for Cancer sells cupcakes and raises money for Cancer research. Both are truly amazing!

The first ever AK Tween Tall Hall Meeting was a hit! We got to talk about how we can change the world and help parents understand us more. We talked with tweens and teens like you and me that got started with different nonprofit organizations like one is greater than none, kidz helping kids, and cupcakes for cancer! We got to talk with Brooke White (American Idol) and at the end she performed a couple of songs for us. Near the end of the day we DMed with celebs like Anna Margaret (Starstruck), Anna Perez De Tagle (Camp Rock and Fame), and Isabelle Fuhrman (Orphan.) At the ending we told adults what we thought of celebs, books, the media, t.v. shows, and products. In all it was a ver full but fun day!

The listening panel was awesome, now it's onto raffles! First up is a tea party kit and a friendship bracelet kit. Kate, Sara, Kendall, Massy, Brenna got an Ottilie and Lulu gift basket and so did lucky girls: Marina, Veronica, and Isabella, and Summer. Everybody gets Ottilie and Lulu face wipes ( I have some and they're awesome!) Now Denise is giving away Emily the Strange products. One of the grand prizes is a Daisy Rock Guitar!! The winner is... Gabriella! And there are a lot of girls winning signed books- about 50 books total. And goody bags! Congrats winners :)

J:It was really fun because Adam Sandler is hilarious and it was a warm set, everyone was really nice.

J:One friend, when we are in school will randomly scream: " My friend's famous!" and it's really annoying. But other than that, they're cool.

Hey guys, we just finished Denim Messaging, and it was so much fun! All the girls got to meet the stars including Francia Rasia from Secret Life, Bella Thorne from Dance Dance Chicago, Erica Hubbard from Lincoln Heights and more! The jeans the celebs decorated are gonna be on display at bloomingdales here in LA tomorrow and then they'll be auctioned off. The jeans the girls wrote inspirational messages in with fabric markers after turning them inside out, will be donated to teens in need :) I did a lot of interviewing and that'll be up soon with a ton of pics, but right now we're about to do the listening panel hosted by 17 mag's Jess Weiner. Oh and btw, the A.L.L.Y awards and Certifikatzz were a success though I wasn't there to see the presentation since I was in the press building interviewing people like Allisyn Arm.

So what's happening this weekend? None other then the first AK Town Hall Meeting! So what is a Town Hall Meeting exactly? It's a mini-Summit happening right in LA! CertifiK.A.T.'s of Achievement go to Alexandra Rose Rieger of In a Perfect World, Emerald-Angel young of Tea Party Angels, Megan Kilroy of Team Marine and Johna Rivers and Toni Gutierrez of Actionist Network for their efforts within larger organizations. 

These tweens and teens highlight the very best of what youth today stands for.  They had the insight, the compassion, the courage, the willingness, and ultimately the commitment to stand up, speak out, and lead others by spearheading their own charities or making an impact on a larger non-profit.  I am so thrilled to honor them and look forward to expanding the reach of the awards at future AK Tween events.  We are forming a Network of philanthropic youth.

My puppy isnnt the most..um...mild dog ever,but it sure leads to good stories!Like,when she was just alitttle puppy and she had never seen water before,so she decided 2 try to run over the open hotub.lol,she fell in,but was so shocked she just kept running on water!!!Or the time she chased a car right ono the highway.1 time zoey was outside and our neighbour called to say that a pickup truck had picked up Zoey!Scared,my dad and I started to drive along searching for her.Thats when we spotted a little white dog running along the road.Zoey come!Come Zoey!then we reailized it wasnt our dog,and he wouldnt come,so we kept on driving.we got home,and zoey was still nowhere to b found.thats when the kennel nearby called.they explained that they were the owners kids(they were in thier 20s) and thier parents had left them in charge of the place while they were away.A little white dog had escaped,and they had picked Zoey up,thinking it was him.and guess wut?at that moment,the dog we saw on the road,the same dog they were looking for,appered on our doorstep.We did a dog switch,promised not to tell the owners about this,hugged Zoey and laughed.Cause with all the crazy jumbles she gets into,she always ends up coming home safe and sound and we can laugh about it.Do u have any funny pet stories?

Says me!!!! (lol. i just quoted that =])

So I just woke up, its 10:00 AM in united arab emirates time zone, and I'm about to go crazy with some great ideas.

Okay so I'm a bit of a scrapbooker, if you want 2 know something about me, something that you probably wouldn't know, in a long time. I cut out anything interesting from magazines, newspapers, catalouges, and teen booklet mags. I print out interesting articles and pics and just funny lil tidbits from the world wide web too, and I was thinking, if I get anything really interesting, I should put an ad up on AK for it and tell all the gurls about it.....something for the summit, for something that helps sick or homeless kids or anything else!!!!! So yeah, what do you girls think of this? I hope to get lots of comments.....

Hey guys, so this weekend I'm going to the Allykatzz Town Hall Meeting at the UCLA campus in California. I'm super psyched, and I can't wait to see all the girls who are going! It's going to be a ton of fun, we have a lot of surprises in store for you (including awesome celebs) and don't forget to bring your old jeans for Denim Messaging! 
For those of you who don't live close enough to make this Town Hall Meeting (mini-summit) hopefully we'll see you at a future event like the Next Tween Summit in NYC this fall! I'm also going to be quickly reporting updates throughout the day, and I'm posting interviews and reports as full sized blogs afterwards. I'll take ton of pictures and tell you all about it!

What an awesome day today was... I went to a GI doctor (a stomach doctor) and found out I'm lactose intulerant and possibly allergic to gluten. Pretty awesome right? NOT! Now I can't have milkshakes or cheese or ice cream! Ugh this sucks! Is anyone else lactose intulerant or alergic to gluten?

ok so i was at cveec finally when i get a call from my mom on the 2nd night saying shes picking me up at 7 and i didnt know why then she said it was a family emergency but she said no one was hurt so i was like thank god then she picked me up and we were going to *** so we got there at aroud 2 in the morning and we r now at my moms friends house and today im sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo flippin sad do u wanna know why? well my mom told me today that she is leaving my dad i was balling and i am still has this happened to u help :(

Ok well last Saturday my bunny died and I wrote a blog about that. Well now I know why. I took my other bunny to the vet today. He said that Hermie has parasites in her stomach. He also said she is being underfed, but I am feeding her like normal (too much food). So this is what the thing is; the parasites in her stomach are eating all of her food! This is like Being on a diet where the food you eat has no calories, so even though I have been feeding her, she hasn't absorbed the food, so she has not truly eaten in weeks! She also has a skin problem that is making her lose all of her fur. But all the same stuff was happening to my Angel Buster Pogo Snifferson, so HE STARVED TO DEATH!

Hi guys! I want to help horses, and make a little moolah! SO I thought, what can I do? Ok well my dad knows people who live in Northwestern Kentucky who have a horse rescue. I know it must be a lot of work to run that place, but certainly EXPENSIVE! So I came up with this idea; I start an online business selling recycled fabric tote bags. The fabric is recycled because if you get from the goodwill you can find cool patterns and you are reusing stuff. I also want to sell scarves, and homemade jewelry too. What do you think?

  After all of the Olympic hype I have made the decision that I want to take ice skating lessons. I'm trying to convince my parents to let me do it at a local skating rink. I know it's absolutely crazy of me, considering that I have EXTREMELY weak ankles (I just recovered from 2 sprains) but it looks like a blast and I'm willing to try it. I don't want to compete or win anything, I just want to skate because it looks like so much fun. After watching Ice Dancing for the first time (now my favorite event!) I knew  I just had to try it. It just looks like so much fun. It looks like dancing, but instead of moving you're gliding and instead of jumping you're flying. I don't have to do any of those big jumps of spins, I just want to be able to skate because it looks so amazingly awesome! I want to know if any of you girls out there are ice skaters and have any tips. Do you like it? How much fun is it? Please let me know! -Keely

okay, for all of you who have read or heard about my book, Tweaked, I just wanted all of you to know that I submitted it and IT'S GETTING PUBLISHED!!!!!!!!! AHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

So, I have to pay the publishing fee of $699 but then I don't have to pay for each book printed; they print them as they're ordered. Then I get 30% royalties on each book sold. And I get 10 free copies of it. EEEEEK!!!!

I'm so excited!!!!!!

We were so excited to get the chance to interview the singer and actress Keana Texeira.

Keana was really awesome and has some great things going on with her career. She is working on her original music with award-winning producer Andrew Lane who produced her first 3 singles, "Butterflies", "Daredevil", and "Could You Be the One".

Not only is she an amazing singer, Keana has also been in several movies. She just finished working on the feature film, Melissa. Keana will also be starring as Luna Tremaine in the teen vampire saga Soulstice, coming to theaters in 2011.

We asked her all about this and more:

Lauren and Jessica: Where do you live?
Keana Texeira: California

Lauren and Jessica: How old are you?
Keana Texeira: I am 15, my birthday is on September 24th.

L&J: Who is your favorite artist?
KT: I really adore Evanescence and Lady Gaga, I tend to like more edgy bands.

L&J: What is your favorite TV show?
KT: I don't watch TV these days. I used to watch Gossip Girl, I love Gossip Girl. I like Vampire stuff but I don't really watch TV.

L&J: Are you dating anyone?
KT: Right now I am not dating anyone, staying single.

L&J: What do you like to do when you're not working?
KT: I like to shop, hang out, I go to the movies alot. I like to write stuff, like poetry and quotes. I like to play with my dog Faith.

L&J: Which do you prefer more, acting or singing?
KT: They are both so different. It really depends on the quality. When you are singing you get to be in crowds with people screaming and waving their hands. Acting is more of a closed set, it is very quiet and professional. It is 50-50.

L&J: Which do you use more Twitter or Facebook?
KT: Twitter, but I respond to my fans more on Facebook.

L&J: What is your favorite part about portraying Luna?
KT: She is not like other vampires. She is the first Christian vampire. She really believes in God. She is very spiritual and is in touch with her surroundings. She's cool.

Keana starts filming Soulstice in a couple of months. We can't wait to see her play Luna the vampire. We are also looking forward to hearing her new music. Even though she is very busy, she still makes time to support several charities.

Hey y'all! Yesterday, I went on a ski trip with my school and I reeeaaally didn't want to go 'cause I sucked at skiing. But, turned out that I had so much fun and passed the lessons! And...I'm actually decent at skiing...I think. It;s just that last time I went skiing was like 2 years ago and the place I went to taught us useless stuff, so I totally sucked. But the place I went to this time was amazing! SO much better:)

Well, I luv skiing now. But I'm not pro at it...yet.

Well, I'm gonna go explore more of allykatzz.com so...
