She has more than one Olympic gold medal!!
She was a member of the gold-medal-winning US women's softball team in 2004.  At the 2003 Pan American Games, she and her team won a gold medal.  She was Stanford University's leader in hits, home runs, runs scored, and total bases. 

She's on ESPN. 

She wants to help us girls follow our dreams.  And she's funny and sooo nice. 

Her name is Jessica Mendoza and she's coming to the Summit.  BUT this blog isn't just for Summit girls... It's FOR ALL ALLYKATZZ. 

If your coming to the Summit or not, here's the deal:

Mitchel Musso is the headliner of the Summit Concert!  Tiffany Thornton is joining us for Summit day and performing at the Concert!!!!

They are both Disney Friends for Change: Project Green Stars - that's the project that empowers kids to help save the planet... and they're going to be a part of the AllyKatzz 2010 Summit - helping us Change the World!

We're soooo excited! Monique told us she is so excited about the Summit!!! Check out the shoutout video that Monique made just for US! She's so amazing - she's spending the entire day and night with us!



First - Monique will be a keynote speaker at the Summit.

Next: Monique will be leading the way on DenimMessaging - she'll join all the Summit girls and and she'll decorate a pair of jeans that will be auctioned off AFTER the Summit so all girls (even if you can't make it to the Summit) will have a chance to buy her jeans and the money goes to benefit Code Blue - a charity that supports homeless tweens and teens ... plus she'll go with US and Code Blue to deliver jeans to shelters on Sunday. Like we said - she's amazing!

And Monique will be co-hosting the DM'ing for Change Concert! If you can't make it, the concert will be streamed on AOL's JSYK.com.

Great news! We are working with a company that is creating new products just for US girls (we can't say the name of the company because this is a secret mission!) and they want YOU to be a part of CREATING these new tween girl products! How exciting is this?

What does this have to do with saving the planet?
Every package will include real tips by real girls - that's us! - tips about SAVING OUR PLANET!

Here's your mission:
Answer the following question: What CREATIVE ways do you have to help save the planet? We're all for turning off the lights, recycling newspapers and glass. But the world needs some NEW and CREATIVE ways to save the planet. Sounds like an AllyKatzz tween girl mission to me! It's up to us! Share ideas you have tried or ideas you dream up. Here's an example: use empty yogart containers as planters! OK - Your Turn! .

Plz send your responses as backatchas to this blog. Your backatchas won't be posted so you won't see them - that's because this is a Secret Mission. But the Secret Mission Team will see them and pick some that may go on the tween girl product packages!

How many tips can you send in? As many as you want!

How long do you have to send in tips? Until September 6, 2010.

How will you know if your tip is picked? We'll send you a shoutout if your tip is picked (sometime after September 6). If you're a StreetKatzz or a Reporter, we'll send you an email also.
